Junior Roy, Selah Robin Nelson Morlat, born in France, in Paris, of Caribbean origin, rocked and grown up in particular in Reggae Music, Jamaican Digital, Rub a dub,ska, Roots,Dancehall ect ... Supported by his Parents and family from an early age, he is in the music and grew up in the Rastafari movement, lives in the suburbs of Paris where he began his first lyrics at the age of 6.

 

He then begins to practice behind the turntables, he writes, is inspired and expresses himself as much at home as in the Sound System Party. His First recordings take place a few years later, at the age of 9 and 10 years. His first "Youtube" video will be shot at his 12 years old, at Loota Yard, in 2008, during the recording of the song entitled "Wicked And Wild" and a second track "Always" released shortly after.

 

Junior Roy continues his road always with his mentor "Colonel Maxwell" his "Teacher", who formed more than one sound in France, and considered as a Véteran Deejay of the hexagon. This emblematic character holds a great place in the career of Junior Roy who will then be produced on Fury bass which will release his 1st 45t, the single "Babylon a pressure the youth". It follows just after with many other labels like "I love sound" managed by his worthy mother "Selecta Katy", selectress of the eponymous sound; Pioneer and Activist of Reggae Music. It is important to mention also the productions Mellow Vibes in Birmingham, UK; the label of "Murray Man" his second Teacher who immediately took him under his wing as a student. He indeed produced more than one single with Junior Roy like "People Are suffering" or "Trouble a town" ect ... Junior continues the music with his relatives or friends as with "Diop Side" "Brainfood crew" "Nerreus Joseph" "Ashanti selah "or others. he continues his way with full of other collaborations.

 

Junior Roy Musician Author/Composer has Founded a crew and a label being small and answering to the name of "Session youth Posse" he already had a lot of imagination and idea of creation and claims the inspiration of the crew "Youthman Promotion"
