BIOGRAPHY
Having cut his teeth in the sound system universe as Selecter and MC of the sound Classic Wonder, Solo Banton embarked on a career as a singer. Solo was immediately recognized for his vintage deejay style and clever (often comedic) lyrical content, and quickly found himself in high demand for his talents, working with Jahtari, Maffi, Mungos Hifi, Zion Gate Hifi, Irie Ites and many other sound systems and labels worldwide. He has performed all over the world, whether accompanied by a DJ or with his band Upper Cut.
Author of several hits such as "Walk Like a Rasta", "Chalice Haffi Blaze", "Music Addict", "In The Air", Solo Banton is an effective artist on stage with his imposing voice. Find him regularly alongside Irie Ites for fiery stage performances !!!
